Sales and Shipping Policy

Prices of all Hosta/Companion plants available at The Happy Hosta are posted; however, those prices may be adjusted accordingly to accommodate if plants present to be smaller prior to invoice. Shipping/Handling of any plants from The Happy Hosta depends on destination zip code and quantity ordered. All Invoices submitted through PayPal. Complete 100% payment is required prior to any plants being prepared for shipment. All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or returns unless made by my discretion.

Payment must be received within 7 days of invoice submitted. If no payment received, the plants will become available to the next interested individual/party, no exceptions. The Happy Hosta will not hold any plants for longer than 4 weeks unless prearranged and accompanied with full payment.  

All plants are packaged with care, bare rooted with tracking number through USPS. Please read the "Details of Packaging/Care" below prior to any purchase. The Happy Hosta certifies to the best of our knowledge and belief that all plants sold are healthy and free of disease. It's the purchaser’s complete responsibility to check every plant carefully within 24 hours of package received.  Please ask any questions before purchase.

All payments or deposits are acceptable as cash in person or PayPal; however, exceptions may be made only by The Happy Hosta approval.  The Happy Hosta reserves the right to refuse a sale for any reason, and purchase of any plants or sending of any deposit is acceptance of the The Happy Hosta Sales Policy.  Thank you!!

Details of Packaging/Care:

To minimize usage of packing materials and more importantly shipping costs to our customers, plants of 2 to 4 may be packaged together. After receiving your package, carefully cut away the box. Please DO NOT try pulling plants out of the long boxes. Unwrap each bundle, check them over, and place them in contains of fresh water to soak overnight. Plant them in pots or garden the next day; however, please DO NOT allow them to get any direct sunshine for a few days until they recover from the stress of shipping.
